In 1997-98, Chairman Mr. Shyam Umalkar and colleagues acquired 2 acres of land on the Nagpur-Pune highway, leading to the establishment of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Seva samittee Mehkar, registered under the Charitable Commission Act.

Gajanan Maharaj Birth Anniversary (Prakat Divas)
This is a highly auspicious day dedicated to Gajanan Maharaj, where more than 25,000 devotees gather for darshan and partake in Mahaprasad (food distribution).
Various spiritual activities take place throughout the day, attracting a vast crowd, including women, children, and people from all walks of life.
Rushi Panchami (Memorial of Shri Gajanan Maharaj)
Rushi Panchami usually falls on the second day of Ganesh Festival as per the Marathi calendar. During this event, organizers arrange enlightening spiritual discourses by nearby saints and serve Prasad (Pithal Bhakari with Ladu) to nearly 5,000-7,500 attendees throughout the day.
Both political and social activists visit the Gajanan Maharaj Temple during these events to seek blessings from the revered saint, Shri Gajanan Maharaj.Dusherra (Last day of Navratri Utsav)
